When Sheer Magic (Pty) Ltd was first envisaged it was with the intention of becoming a major Event Planner, Party Planner, Function Planner, or Event Coordinator, Party Coordinator, or Function Coordinator to put together all those lovely things needed for Events, Functions, Parties & Celebrations of all kinds; from birthdays to anniversaries, weddings, farewells, retirements, 21sts, 30th's, 40th's, 50th's, 60th's, business target achievement, business successes, stork parties, wedding showers, etc. The intention was to provide all the traditional hire items like tables, chairs, table cloths, overlays, napkins, chair covers, sashes, tiebacks, cutlery, crockery, glasses, glassware, cocktail tables, cocktail stretch covers, cocktail stools, umbrellas, heaters, braziers amongst others, plus normal fun lighting using faerie lights, fairy lights, festoon lights, boogie lights, robot lights, rope lights, & police lights together with drapes & theme decor.

Indeed we became very involved in all of this & have ended up with a host of theme décor from table centre pieces/table centre piece items to a host of theme items, theme props including an arabian theme, moroccan theme, oriental theme, eastern theme, western theme, tropical theme, nautical theme, pirate theme, mediaeval theme, james bond theme, 007 theme, casino theme, chicago theme, rock'n roll theme, music theme, jazz theme, cruise theme, mafia theme, carnival theme, rio theme and so on.

But in the middle of all this we started getting a host of calls for popcorn, popcorn machines, popcorn hire, candy floss, candyfloss, candy floss machines, candyfloss machines, candy floss hire, candyfloss hire, slush, slush machines, slush hire, slush puppies, slush puppy machines, slush puppy hire etc & so added a new dimension to what Sheer Magic (Pty) Ltd was all about. As a result, instead of becoming bona fide Event Planners, party Planners, or Function Planners we ended up more on the Hire side with part or full Event Coordination, Party Coordination or Function Coordination up until just before the Event, Party or Function started. As opposed to attending the celebration through to the finish.

We are now well established on the Fun Food side & our red & white popcorn machines & stands, our yellow candy floss bowls & candyfloss machines, candy floss machines, & our tropical coloured slush machines, slush puppy machines are seen all over Gauteng. In fact, although unplanned, popcorn hire, candyfloss hire, candy floss hire & slush hire, slush puppy hire, slush machine hire & slush puppy machine hire have become a major part of our business & we are hoping to add ice cream & cappuccino machines to the Fun Food side sometime this year.
